THE PURPOSE IS SALVATION

Each of us has a special purpose for which it exists, perhaps most people have not yet been able to understand what is theirs because they are entertained in the things that the world offers and that the only thing they do is to move them away from the true purpose with which God created them.

God's purpose for each one of us is Salvation, but what is Salvation and where do we find it? Salvation is the ransom that Jesus, through the power of his blood and the power of his resurrection, gives to all of us who believe in him, Salvation is eternal life; the complexity of this situation is that many people know it but do not believe it in their heart and prefer to replace the path of salvation that is Christ, by traditionalisms, reasoning and religious or scientific beliefs invented by man. Many boast of believing in God, of having him in their lives but in reality they are away from Him all the time, they think that saying they believe in Him is enough and others believe that because they know Him they have already obtained the merit of being saved.

The same word is mentioned in Romans 2:13 "For God does not consider those who hear the law as righteous, but those who obey it" (New International Version). Now, this does not mean that by law we are Saved. The law is good but it is not the one that saves us, it is necessary to fulfill the law that is the word of God, because it is the one that brings conviction of sin to our heart and as we fulfill it, our ways in the Lord are reaffirmed , but Salvation is not in the works we do but in the faith that we have in Christ Jesus; So, it is useless for us to do works of charity if we do not have Christ in our hearts and if we do not fulfill what He teaches us through his word. With faith in Jesus Christ the importance of fulfilling the law of God is confirmed, but it is worthless that we comply with the law if we do not have faith in Him; it is more, it is the faith in Christ Jesus that allows us to fulfill his commands.

Many people who have been blessed by God have the conception that they are righteous before the Lord because they give others of the blessings they receive from Him. Some people for example have been economically prosperous, so their way of giving back to God for this blessing is doing works of charity with others and they think that with this they already deserve an important space in heaven, that with these works they are already saved. What good is this if you do not believe in the sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus, what is the use of this if the presence of God is lacking in your heart; May it be impregnated in our hearts that our Salvation is not for works but for faith in him who gave his life for us "Jesus of Nazareth".

"Because we hold that we are all justified by faith, and not by the works that the law demands" Romans 3:28 (New International Version).

The works are important but without faith in Jesus, they are useless and in the same way faith without works has no value for God, it is a dead faith; works go hand in hand with faith, it is faith that gives value to the law of God and works, never forget it.

"Was not our father Abraham declared righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see: His faith and his works acted together, and his faith came to perfection by the works he did "James 2: 21-22 (New International Version).

The Lord today is touching the door of your heart and revealing to you the true purpose for which you were created. He longs for your Salvation but will not save you if you do not want it. He is a gentleman and respects your position regardless of your decision; I encourage you to believe in Him, in His Grace and His Power so that you and yours are saved and can enjoy the wonderful gift that as a heritage has left us all who are part of their offspring "eternal life."

It is one thing to be a good person but another thing is to be Sons of God, we all are but not all of them on the day of judgment. God will recognize them as his Sons; because many, being his children, have deviated from his path, from his purpose. Today you have the opportunity to redirect yours, follow the right path and you will understand the difference, open your arms and surrender to Him so that He will speak to your heart and give you the conviction you need to understand your purpose.

Remember, it is not the knowledge that you have of God, nor the works in your own strength that saves you, your Salvation is in Jesus Christ, it is by his grace that we are saved.
