Psalm 34:17
17 The righteous cry out, and Jehovah hears,
And he delivers them from all their anguish.

It is inevitable that we live in this world without problems. All of us are subject to living with obstacles, problems, disappointments, storms, afflictions that in one way or another overwhelm us and take away the peace of our hearts.
However, God makes us a special call "come to me, all who are worked, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28).

Which means that God gives rest to the burdened soul and also promises to deliver the righteous when he cries out to Him.
We are all exposed without condition to live in times of anguish for such reason the Lord Jesus says: cry to me and I will respond in times of anguish, I will transform every day and I will keep you in the difficult times
Your anguish and your cry will be heard. It is a promise from our father to us.

Jehovah is near to the broken in heart, and saves those who are contrite in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but all of them the Lord will deliver them.

Who are the righteous of whom this psalm speaks who will be heard by God?

The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and their ears are attentive to their prayers. The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their anguish. Psalm 34:15, 17

The principle of wisdom is fear or reverence for the Lord. To affirm this principle is to imply that those who attain wisdom live anchored in the Law of the Lord and seek the Word of God as the guide that guides their decisions and actions.
In this context we can say that the righteous are all those whose principle is the fear of God. They are all those who obey God before all men who decided to walk with Him and follow Him with obedience. All those who are guided by the precepts of God turn away from evil, from lies, from deceit, from falsehood and live only to please them.
