If everyone disappoints you

Sometimes we are not what others expect us to be, we are not the friends that others would like us to be, we are not the good people that others expect us to be, but we are simply imperfect, unable to fulfill all the requirements that others They expect from us.

One of the biggest problems we all have is trying to get along with everyone, something that from my point of view is impossible, but even though deep down we know it is difficult to do it, we always end up feeling bad for not being the person that others They want us to go.

Have you ever cheated on someone? Have you felt that sensation that is produced when the people you always expected something good from turn away? Have you trusted someone and not responding as you expected you have been left with an evil taste of mouth?

I know people who, in disappointing someone, have even chosen to distance themselves from God. In many churches around the world, when a pastor or leader fails they end up going to the world, I ask myself: Why get away from God when a man fails ?, Who did we believe ?, In God or in that man?

We must understand that ALL absolutely ALL will fail us at some point in life. We do not have to idealize people thinking they are perfect, because we will get great disappointments.

I am one of the most imperfect ones that exist, when I have confidence with someone I always tell them that they do not have illusions with me, because I will end up defrauding them, because I know that I am imperfect, that I will not be able to fulfill the standard that they expect from me, I am a simple imperfect human who struggles every day of my existence to try to please God and in my daily attempt failure many times, but this imperfect human will not tire until the last day of his existence to try to please the Lord.

There is only someone we will never let ourselves down, someone from whom we will never find any error and although on many occasions we get angry with Him, we complain and even threaten Him, He still loves us in the same way and continues to reach out to help us, that is God.

God never disappoints anyone, because he never deludes himself with anyone, He knows us perfectly, he knows how imperfect we are, how bad we sometimes act, what we think, what desires we feel, what plans we want to carry out. and yet he is always there to extend his hand, to raise us, to restore us, to give us new opportunities.

Perhaps the last few days you have felt disappointed by people you liked a lot, people you expected a lot of, but they did not even give you a little. Although it seems hard to tell you at this time, you are the guilty of that feeling that at this moment overwhelms you, because you expected too much of an imperfect person like you and when you do that it is obvious that you will end up defrauding you harshly.

It is time to put our eyes on Jesus from whom we will never find any mistake, it is time to stop seeing others as perfect people or unable to fail, on the contrary, we see each person as a candidate to disappoint us at any time of our lives , so that when that happens we can understand it and we can love it in the same way.

When we understand that we are all imperfect we learn to love and not to judge, to lift and not to trample, to help and not to bury, because we realize that any of us can at some point be in that person's place, because Finally, we are equally imperfect.

Respect people, but do not have illusions with them, if you want to admire them, but never idealize them, because they are like you, imperfect people seeking to please and serve a perfect God.

And if you feel cheated by half the world, it is time to turn your gaze to the place where you never had to divert it, this is JESUS ​​LORD OUR.
