Where is the glory in the church?

Blessings to the whole community.

I am pleased to share an interesting topic such as: Where is the glory of God in the church?

The Word of God says:

"And if the ministry of death engraved with letters on stones was glorious, so much so that the children of Israel could not fix their eyes on the face of Moses because of the glory of his face, which must perish, how can he not? Is the ministry of the spirit in glory? 2 Corinthians 3: 7-8

Look at those verses, Paul reveals how glorious the new blessing must be, using the illustration of the days of Moses and the children of Israel.

When Moses came down from the mountain, once he received the law, the glory of the Lord made his face shine so brightly that he had to wear a veil when he spoke with people (Ex 34: 28-35).

Paul used this example of an incident. The Jews of Paul's time had already experienced that trying to keep the law ministered death instead of life. Paul told them that if what ministered death came with such glory that such a glow could be seen in front of the face of Moses, the giver of the law, how much more glorious will this new covenant that ministers life?

There are certain congregations out there that, on occasion, the glory of God visits them. Are we supposed to wait for God to bring glory with sovereignty, or should we bring it? Maybe if we were more glorious personally, we would not need to pray for God to bring glory. We can take it with us when we go to church, and we can take it everywhere.

If all Christians would take the glory of God to work, to shopping centers or to school, the world would not be affected in a positive way.

Believers talk about glory, we preach about glory and we sing about glory, but the world needs to see it! The world needs to see a living Church, composed of living stones.

As the Apostle Peter said:

If you have tasted the goodness of the Lord.
By approaching you, living stone, certainly rejected by men, more by God chosen and precious, you too, like living stones, be built as a spiritual house and a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ . 1Peter 2: 3-5.

Thankful to have shared this message. Blessings

It is exactly what the world expects, we can not be bearers of glory but manifest it, the glory comes to heal, cleanse, love, and rescue.
The creation groans waiting for the manifestation of the children of God.
