It is interesting to know about a woman who accompanied her husband Abraham in almost all the way of faith.

Sara was originally called "Sarai," which means "Princess." When God changed her name to "Sara", she called her "The Princess" or "Queen", making her share the role of her husband Abraham (formerly called Abram), the "Father of many people"; and so he included it in his promises of the covenant (Genesis 17: 15-16).

Sarah, Abraham's beautiful wife (Gen 12:14), was barren (Gen 16: 1), which in the ancient world was considered a curse. She is an example of:

a) faith that goes beyond personal limitations (He 11:11); Y

b) of an obedient spirit that responds biblically to her husband, without losing her own pesonality (1 Peter 3: 5-6).

Sara is also an illustration of how dangerous it can be to take God's promises into our own hands. The suggestion that, given his sterility, Abraham took his servant as a wife, resulted in the birth of Ishmael, a boy who caused jealousy and conflict between the two women, subsequently between the two children and, to this day, between Your descendants
