It is of great interest to express the relevance of our confession of faith in Jesus, who puts at his disposal his power to face any evil that threatens us.

In the epistle of the apostle Paul to the Philippians, he put it this way:

9 Therefore, God also exalted him to the fullest, and gave him a name that is above each name, 10 so that in the name of Jesus every knee of those in heaven, and on earth, they bend and under the earth; 11 and each tongue confesses that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Some very wise people notice that the term "confess" means "to recognize, celebrate and praise openly and joyfully." These words that we share in Philippians 2: 9-11, are eloquent and very beautiful words, represent a great recognition for all who manage to capture the power of confession of faith. Exalting and honoring our Lord Jesus Christ is our source of power in the application of faith. The Father honors the Son first, then those who confess their Son (Jn 12:26). All human beings, and also angels and demonic spirits, will finally bend their knees before Jesus and pay homage to him. That confession that each language will make, one day all ears will hear, when our Lord receives, definitively and completely, the government of all things. But until that day comes, our confession of Jesus Christ as the Lord invokes and receives his presence and power to face all evil. By declaring us your honor, in faith, the kingdom of Christ is present in the context of current circumstances.
