BRIEF HUMILITY LESSON

Today I want to share with the whole family of @Steemchurch an interesting message of humility that God allowed to teach as a lesson to a king who wanted to boast by believing that the power of his kingdom was due to the glory of his wisdom and wealth. leaving Dio aside.
We find this character as a reference in the book of Daniel 4: 30-37. This is King Nebuchadnezzar.

Through Nebuchadnezzar's mandate, Babylon expanded and grew in power and fame.
The world saw him as a god, and foolishly began to believe in his own popularity.

He praised himself saying: "Isn't this the great Babylon that I built for the royal house with the power of my power and for the glory of my majesty?" (Dn 4:30). But in an instant, Nebuchadnezzar lost his kingdom and lived like a wild beast (Dn 4: 31-33).
Only after a period of severe humiliation did he recover his judgment: "Now Nebuchadnezzar praised, magnificent and glorified the King of heaven ... can he humble those who walk with pride" (Dn 4:37).

God is love, but we must walk humbly before Him. When we begin to exalt ourselves, God will humble us (Stg 4: 6). He deserves all our love and affection, and we must remember that He is the one who governs all things, not us.

God looks at the haughty from afar, and he who has a humble heart is close to Him.
