Reflections of life: How to manage anxiety?
Greetings and blessings. Thanks for visiting my blog again. I share an important message focused on How to handle anxiety? While it is true, we live in a world so complicated and difficult to remain calm, the product of the many problems we face every day, which makes you live so agitated and full of anxiety.
There are times when we feel distressed and want to escape from that situation; Be it work, relationships, church, neighborhood or any other difficult situation. We believe that we cannot handle all these conflicts of life that produce overwhelming stress, so we choose to turn our backs and run away.
When we review the word of God, we find that there is an answer to control anxiety and, instead of avoiding all situations that cause us distress, we can turn to the Lord's biblical advice to control the situation.
God has a powerful truth for us when we find ourselves in a dead end, at any time in our lives.
It is important that we understand that the situation of anguish is not handled by fighting against it; on the contrary, the advice of God is that we rest in him. As mentioned in Psalm 46:10
Stay still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations; I will be exalted on Earth.
Notice that God calls us to be still in Him, that is, to rest in the Lord. God invites us to enter his presence through prayer and that all our burdens fall upon him.
In the same way, the apostle Peter advises us that God takes care of us and that we put our faith in God and he will take away our burdens.
Cast all your anxiety on him, because he takes care of you (1 Peter 5: 7).
Something similar said the Lord Jesus: "Come to me all who are worked and loaded, and I will give you rest."
Jesus offers an inner peace to our lives when we decide to come to Him and put our emotional burdens on him. In Jesus we find rest for our souls.
