Hebrews 12: 5-6 says, "And you have forgotten the exhortation that is addressed to you as sons, saying, 'My son, do not despise the discipline of the Lord, nor be dismayed when you are rebuked by Him; 6 For the Lord whom he loves, disciplines, and scourges everyone he receives as a son. "

The correction that comes from God is not to condemn us, nor to make us pay for our sins, and He pays them on the cross, his correction is for love.

The discipline of God can come for many reasons:

1.- Maybe you want to show us something that we need to change.

2.- It will be that we need to grow in certain areas.

3.- It will be that we need to give up some things.

4.- It will be that we need to change our attitude of pride and self-sufficiency.

Or he simply wants to show us that He wants the best for us, his children.
