Master your thoughts or they will devour you!
Hello Steemians, blessed day, I greet you @genesis2000. I just want to remind you that each blog is a challenge for you and me, even if it does not seem like it; because the purpose of this is that we can learn together and improve each day.
I like how Matthew 9: 4 says in the NIV version in English:
"Why do they entertain bad thoughts in their hearts?"
That bad thoughts pass through our mind is not a sin, sin is to ENTERTAIN THEM.
We all have bad thoughts of a transitory nature: they come and go, like a shooting star.
The problem is when you entertain them, caress them, shelter and become permanent. Why is it so dangerous to ENTERTAIN a bad thought?
Because a thought becomes a feeling, that feeling becomes an attitude, that attitude becomes a habit, that habit becomes character and character becomes your destiny.
That is why the Bible admonishes us to "captivate every thought to subject it to the obedience of Christ."
