Greeting

Dear brothers of the block chain:
To you who belong to the special people of God, and who continue to believe in Jesus Christ and live very close to him, I send you my regards.

I, @elPastor; I ask our Father God and the Lord Jesus Christ to love them and give them peace.

Introduction

I want to share with you, dear reader, a powerful teaching on How can jealousy and envy be handled?

It is recommended for the success of this study and its greatest benefit for each receiving sibling, to read Psalm 37: 1-8.

It is important that we make the following reflection:

Have you ever been envious of another person's success? Maybe your neighbor just received a new car, or someone from his job received the promotion he was looking for. When these types of situations generate unexpected reactions within us, we may have a problem.

Envy provokes in us a strong emotion of disgust at the sight of another person's good fortune, and can poison good relationships, ruin our testimony, and prevent us from experiencing the blessings of God. The Bible says that jealousy and envy are manifest works of the flesh (Galatians 5: 19-21).

Is it possible to take control of a jealous attitude? Yes! God wants his children to exercise dominion over these volatile emotions, so we will examine some specific actions you can take to win the victory.

1 Confess your jealousy

This emotion always, and I insist, always, moves away from the Lord and focuses on another person or object. This is, by definition, idolatry. Each time you pay more attention or assign more value to "something" above God, it is dangerously exposed to divine judgment. Repent of that sin immediately!

2. Recognize that you do not agree with God.

If the Lord decides to bring some specific blessing into the life of another person, that is his divine prerogative. You are declaring with your envy that you consider yourself worthy of the blessing that the other person. Present that disagreement honestly before the Lord and ask him to renew his mind with a divine perspective.

3. Thank God for his work in that person's life.

You may not like this point, but when you praise God, even when you do not feel like it, you place yourself in the correct position to receive your blessings, demonstrating that you fully trust your judgment.

4. Ask God to put love in your heart for the other person.

There are many biblical passages in which anger and jealousy occur one after the other. Do not let envy cause you malice and hatred. Rather, learn to rejoice when others receive blessings, even when you believe that you should have received such blessings.

5. Keep your exclusive focus on God.

Delight in Him, knowing that He has promised to give you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37: 4). Concentrate first on what He has done for you and on the promises He has made to you through His Word. Always remember that God is God, and that it is His right to bless everyone, exactly as He deems appropriate and convenient.

Excellent message @elpastor, I always enjoy his teachings. Before this situation that you raise about this feeling "envy" we know that this attitude does not come from God, nor from the fruits of the spirit, because it is carnal. Therefore, I take from you these words: "Keep your exclusive focus on God."
