The light of life
In this verse we can read that Jesus is the light of life, which means that he who seeks Jesus will walk in light will be a free man or woman who knows how to identify his true path where he should travel.
It is understood from this verse that the world is in darkness, and if the world is in darkness, it needs the light of Jesus to be able to travel through life. Man is wrapped in darkness because of his moral and spiritual condition. The prophet Isaiah says it clearly in chapter 60: verse 2: "For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and darkness the nations ..."
The world talks about light and in fact they would like to walk in the light but their spiritual condition does not allow it because they are dead in their crimes and sins.
So today's man needs to reconcile with Jesus Christ to be able to participate in that true light that will light every way of the man he recognizes that his natural condition needs to be changed.
No one in this world can offer light to man, only Jesus can wisely facilitate the passage of men is he, the only one able to bring the world into the abyss of darkness where they have gone, only he can free people from darkness, of the spiritual situation that exists because of sin that has increased.
Jesus I say it. I am the light of the world, in other words only I can correctly guide humanity.
