The value of obedience

Obedience is a principle established in the person as a lifestyle that brings benefits and blessings.
Being obedient to God and submitting in obedience to the lifestyles that we surround will surely bring us much benefit, since obedience opens the heavens and also opens any door here on earth.

If we submit to any labor manager or obey our parents, we will surely do so with God.
Obviously obeying God also implies loving him because love makes us obey him and follow his path.

John 14:23
Jesus replied: "He who loves me will obey my word, and my Father will love him, and we will make our dwelling in him."

To obey God is to honor him is to love him and we have the promise that our father will dwell in us and this is something beautiful in our life.
In addition, the book of Deuteronomy also tells us about the promises of God in all those who keep his word with wonderful promises.

Deuteronomy 5:33
Follow the path that the Lord your God has set for you, so that you may live, prosper and enjoy long life on the earth you will possess.

Many people believe they honor God with works or sacrifices but the Bible teaches us that obedience is better than any sacrifice.

1 Samuel 15:22
Samuel replied: «What pleases the Lord more: that burnt offerings and sacrifices be offered, or that what he says be obeyed? To obey is worth more than sacrifice, and to pay attention, more than the fat of rams.

God is pleased in the obedience of man more than in any sacrifice that can be made because obedience is the key to please God and bring the blessings along with his promise.
