Doing my part!
Source
Greetings and blessings. I share a new message from my blog. What a joy to have received from God, musical talent!
The Word teaches us in 1Corinthians 12: 4-11, that to all Christians, God gives us talents and abilities to be able to serve Him in the body of Christ. I recognize that I am privileged, in the sense that I can sing and adore God and play with the ability that God has given me, the piano.
God certainly does with each one of us according to his purpose. He trains us for his work. However, we make the mistake of believing that this talent or ability is something simply natural that God places and that we can develop it with the actions of the world. We become the thought that fame and money can be obtained with those gifts by using them outside God's service. Well, we are wrong. What God has put into each one of us we must use to serve God as He commands for the edification of the body of Christ.
God already did the part that corresponded with us with respect to the gifts. Now, we must reflect on the part that corresponds to us.
We must not forget that we are partners with God and we have to fulfill our part of the bargain. Our responsibility is to believe and obey any specific instruction that God gives us, as well as to serve Him with our gifts; his part is to make work the good things that He has placed within us, so that they come out and can be seen and enjoyed by others and by ourselves. When we fall into the "works of the flesh" (our energy trying to do God's work), we feel frustrated. God Himself is frustrated, opposes and opposes us, until we humble ourselves and trust Him fully (see 1 Peter 5: 5).
So that all that we have received from God, it is our responsibility, to do the part that corresponds to us, so that we are righteous in the deal that God made with us.
When God promises something, he only expects us to do what we have to do with the promise, the rest God does, in his appointed time, not in ours.
Putting our talents at God's disposal It's beautiful @dali13, DTB
