Greetings to the whole community.

In Bible stories we will share the story of "Baby Moses is saved." We find this story in Exodus 2: 1-10.

Look at the crying baby while squeezing the girl's finger. This is Moses. Do you know who the beautiful girl is? She is an Egyptian princess, Pharaoh's own daughter.

Moses' mother hid the baby until three months of age, because he did not want the Egyptians to kill him. But she knew that they could find Moses and, because of that, this was what she did to save him.

He prepared a wooden basket that would not allow water to enter. Then he put Moses there and placed the basket in the tall grass by the Nile River. He told Miriam, the sister of Moses, to stay nearby to see what would happen.

Soon Pharaoh's daughter came to the Nile River to bathe. Suddenly he saw the basket in the tall grass. He told one of his servants: "Give me that basket." When the princess opened the basket, what a beautiful baby she saw! The baby Moses was crying, and the princess felt sorry for him. The Egyptian princess did not want the baby killed.

Then Miriam came. Mary asked Pharaoh's daughter, "Can I go and call an Israelite to raise your baby?

"Do me that favor," said the princess.

So Miriam went running to tell her mom. When Moses' mother approached the princess, she said, "Take this baby and raise him, and I'll pay you back."

So Moses' mother cared for her own son. Later, when Moses was old enough, he took it to the daughter of Pharaoh, who adopted him as his son. That is why Moses grew up in the house of Pharaoh.
