God bless the entire Steemit community. May all the blessings of peace, love and joy flow on every friend and brother in Christ, who work with great enthusiasm in the blockchain.

We all yearn to have good friends, special people I can trust. However, when you least think about it, those people who claim to be your friends, betray you and treat you many times with hypocrisy.

The Lord Jesus had promised his disciples that the heavenly Father would send them a true friend whom they could trust. This promise of this true friend was fulfilled at the beginning of the early church. A friend who, when the time came for his presentation, poured out his grace, love and peace, the place where the disciples were. This friend is the Holy Spirit.

God sent him with a very specific purpose.

The Lord assured us that the Holy Spirit would lead us to all truth and all justice. When you think about the company of the Holy Spirit, it is important that you first consider what allowed you to begin a relationship with the Lord. How could you, being a sinner, establish a friendship with the holy God? What reconciled him with him? Was it dedication on your part? Maybe it was the result of your tireless efforts? Of course not! You accepted your relationship with Him by faith. In the same way, every aspect of your life with God requires that you trust in the Lord.

The apostle Paul affirms:

In the way you have received the Lord Jesus Christ, walk in him; rooted and over-built in him, and confirmed in the faith, as he has been taught (Col 2: 6-7).

The Lord teaches him how to walk with Him, how to honor him and how to join his work.

We are not the first generation of Christians who have tried to take matters into their own hands; Believers throughout history have exhibited the same problem. It is part of fallen human nature to want to keep control and do things on our own. However, when it comes to justice, either for salvation or for life, we must let God do the work.

The Spirit-filled life is a life of faith. It began by faith and is maintained by faith, from beginning to end. What is the faith? Faith is to believe that God will do what he has promised, just as he promised. It is not a power or something that we supposedly have to animate within ourselves.
Rather, faith is trusting that God will honor his promises. That is all.

At the beginning of our relationship with Him, we believed that Jesus would redeem us from the punishment of our sins; Now we must trust Him to free ourselves from the servitude of sin in our lives. We must be sure that He will show us how to live in a way that honors him. We must proceed in our lives by making decisions, handling crises, supporting our families and others, knowing that He will really do what he said he would do. That is what it means to associate with the Holy Spirit.
