Welcome to my blog. I bless you in the name of Jesus and the glory of God will cover you on this day and always.

In Philippians 4: 13 the apostle Paul says:

I can do everything in Christ that strengthens me.

When we extract this biblical portion of the context referred to by the apostle Paul, we can make any kind of mistake, thinking that "everything" implies all the things I can do personally.

Everything you do must be under the will of God.
This is where we make the big mistake when we repeat as a little parrot the expression "I can do everything in Christ that strengthens me."

The context through which the apostle Paul referred to such words, addressed specific situations he was living at that time, to which Paul was sure it was the will of God.

Paul at that time was referring to the ability to live with abundance or need and be happy in any situation. If the situation was abundant, Paul understood that this was the will of God and that in that situation he should do the will of God to continue preaching. If the situation was scarce, Paul also assumed that this was the will of God and that he should continue his work of preaching the Word.

Nothing stopped Paul in his great purpose of preaching the gospel of salvation, and in each situation he considered that Christ strengthened him to achieve his goal.

In the same way, dear brother, regardless of the situation you are living, in Christ you are already strengthened to undertake your work of continuing to glorify God.
