Greetings and blessings. Welcome to my blog. We will share a new message about "The first messianic prophecy of the Old Testament."

From the first moment that Satan deceived man and woman, God did not stand idly by, but promised that there would be a great conflict between Satan and the seed of the woman. This great conflict is known as the war between good and evil.
God gave the first messianic prophecy and announced that from the offspring of the woman would come a man who would hurt the ancient snake by the head and who would hurt him on the heel.

The first messianic prophecy says in Genesis 3:15

And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and his; It will hurt in the head and it will hurt in the heel.

The seed of the woman meant the wealth, mercy, pain and glory of God's redemptive work for humanity through Jesus Christ. God had promised to bring a redeemer from the "seed of the woman"; which would be completely human, but with the divine conception. This would make war against the ancient snake.

"The ancient serpent", which is called demon and satan, would make war until the end of time with the seed of the woman (Revelation 12).
The ancient snake bit the heel of the woman's seed on the cross, and as she lowered her feet she crushed the head of the snake on the same cross. All this happened in the life and death of Christ, who was divinely conceived, but completely human, defeated and publicly exhibited the powers of hell through his life, death and resurrection (Colossians 2:15).

This first messianic proclamation of the gospel is what has marked the guidelines of Christ's prophetic fulfillment as the messiah expected by the Jews and the hope of salvation for all mankind.
