We have learned that God is looking for something that is very important to him. If God seeks something, it is because it has been lost, because it is necessary or because we do not know the location of what God wants. We mentioned that the most important thing for God is the souls, that all are saved, but in this post we will see something else that God is looking for.

God seeks worshipers

"But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth; because also the Father such worshipers seek to worship him "(John 4:23). God is looking for worshipers. Maybe we can confuse what worship is with a style of music, but it really goes beyond that.

Adoration comes from the Greek word proskuneo, which can be translated as reverence, homage, obedience, prostration and kneeling. It is not only singing but acting, doing something to exalt God. Our main form of worship to God is obedience like that of Christ; he was obedient to death (Philippians 2: 8).

There are three things we should know about worship according to its literal meaning.

Making reverence and giving homage means exalting all that God is. We can thank Him for being our loving, compassionate, merciful Father, for being sovereign, eternal and protective. It means putting God higher than any other being.
To prostrate and kneel, means to humble ourselves, to duck our heads, to put ourselves under someone. When we approach God with humility, we can receive God's favor in many ways.
Being obedient is the ultimate expression of worship to God, because we show confidence in God and know that doing His will is the best way to live here on earth (Romans 12: 2).
God asks that worship be genuine, and this is achieved when we allow the Holy Spirit to guide us every day of our lives. When we recognize the attributes of God and realize that without him we can do nothing, we will experience the presence of God in a palpable way. The atmosphere around the worshiper changes, as he will have the privilege of bringing the glory of God to the earth and taking it anywhere.

God looks for intercessors

"And I sought among them a man to make a wall, and to stand in the breach before me, in favor of the land, so that I would not destroy it; and I did not find it "(Ezekiel 22:30). God is looking for intercessors, and these are harder to find.

I found that the word intercede comes from two Greek words, entuncano and juperentuncano. The second word means making a request on behalf of others. But the word entuncano strikes me, means to meet, in order to converse; then, make a request and, especially, beg someone, either for or against others.

An example of this application is when Abraham began to talk with God about the destruction of Sodom. Abraham asks him not to destroy that place and in the end he pleads for the mercy of at least ten righteous people in that place. We know what happened next. (Genesis 18: 16-33; 19)

What it means to be an intercessor:

To meet God to converse. God only reveals his plans to those who delight in His presence, and who day by day wish to spend time with their Lord and are willing to listen and obey His voice.
Praying the requests of others. The intercessor is always interested in others more than himself.
Pray to God for others. The main function of the intercessor is to plead the favor of those who need the intervention of God.
It is very difficult to find people who seek the well-being of others rather than oneself. That is why the Bible says that God did not find anyone to favor the earth. But God is raising up the intercessors today. The intercessor can hear the voice of God to know how he should pray for others.

God looks for laborers

"Then he said to his disciples: The harvest is indeed great, but the laborers are few. Pray, therefore, the Lord of the harvest, to send laborers into his harvest "(Matthew 9: 37-38).

"Then I heard the voice of the Lord, who said: Whom shall I send, and who shall go for us?" (Isaiah 6: 8a).

God is looking for workers. The Bible teaches us that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved, but ... "How, then, will they invoke the one in whom they have not believed? And how will they believe in the one they have not heard of? And how can they hear without a preacher? And how will they preach if they are not sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of those who announce peace, who proclaim good news! "(Romans 10: 14-15).

Jesus told us that the harvest is great, but there is a lack of people who want to go and bring the good news of salvation. There are missing people who have a passion to go and preach the Word of God so that people recognize Christ as the only and sufficient Savior of our lives. We need more people who can say as Isaiah: "Here I am, send me".

Only those who hear God's call to preach to others of Christ will experience the following signs: "And these signs will follow those who believe: In my name they will cast out demons; they will speak new languages; they will take serpents in their hands, and if they drink something deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover "(Mark 16: 17-18).

Planted before God

The worshiper, the intercessor and the worker are those who stand before God. The worshiper to exalt God and bring his presence from heaven to earth. The intercessor to pray for those who need God to intervene. And the worker to give an account of the souls he has won for Christ.
