Hi everyone and great parishioners. Greetings to you from Our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.

Thousands of year ago, in the little city of Bethlehem Judah, a little darling child was born and His name is Jesus. This baby grow so much in knowledge and in Wisdom that the greatest philosophers of His time had no objection to His wisdom and knowledge.

At the age of 12, we could see Him in the temple among the great scholar, teachers, philosophers and professors of His time. As the story speaks of this little baby, He was so full of wisdom and this wisdom was an amazement the nobles of His time.

At one point they couldn't overlook the fact that He was wise and knowledgeable so they seek to know whose child He was?

This boy grew to become a man, and all through the days of His life on earth, report about Him was that everywhere He went, He was doing good. See Acts 10:38

He was so selfless in His service that all He did was never for Himself but always for the people He came to. He was so determined that nothing will at any point shift His focus from people to Himself even unto to the point of dead.

He would prefer to go naked just so that the people around Him be clothed. One of His late disciples Apostle Paul in His remark about His service to humanity said:

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9 NIV

As we go forth in the story of His life, we saw how that as many that believed on His name was serve and you too can be saved.

Before He returned to His father, He gave His disciples a mandate of continuation (The Great Commission), urging them to continue in His footsteps and remain faithful in doing good. See Matthew 28:19-20

Other versions of stories written about this man, the authors calls the command He gave to His disciples in Matthew 28:19-20 the great commission giving them a right hand of fellowship into the work of sharing the Goodnews of Salvation

What is Goodnews

Goodnews is a news about something or someone pleasant, fortunate, or otherwise positive.

From His early disciples down to us, the assignment as been go into the world and_Spread the goodnews_ to all.

The young, the old, the rich and the poor and none should be exempted from this gospel and for @Steemchurch Community, theirs is to spread the gospel of financial freedom to every believer in the world.

Am glad to be a member of this great community benefiting from every of move to eradicate poverty.

I could do little but to help spread this goodnews of financial freedom to my generation by referring 15 new persons to the @Steemchurch Telos exercise and below is a proof of a little commitment to make sure that poverty becomes a story among the believers.
