He is the guide..
"He refreshes and restores my life (my self); He leads me in the paths of righteousness [uprightness and right standing with Him–not for my earning it, but] for His name's sake.
Psalm 23:3 AMPC"
Most times, we who are the sheeps of his pasture really want to attain righteousness on our own..
We forget that we are sheeps, ones with no direction, ones with some useless strength, no wisdom, no clue on how to do certain things especially without a shepherd.. You know that description of a sheep..
The earlier we realize we are sheeps, the earlier we'll need a shepherd, because we are nothing and can do nothing without him.. Not even the attainment of a righteous life..
You need righteousness, because without it, you can't see God, his works, goodness or faithfulness. You won't feel it
The goodnews is that, We have the best shepherd in Jesus Christ, he does this not because we deserve it or earn it but for his namesake, so we could call him Abba father and so we could have that fellowship with him.
So.. Why not rely on him?
Why not allow him lead you through?
He is ever ready...
Receive the grace to allow him lead you through..

God has and will ever be faithful in keeping His promises of caring for His own. Beyond what we know, He thinkest good of us and will always bring us to that place of nourishment and rest is we believe Him.
