Continuing from Part 1

Fred, a student of one of the higher institutions in the city convinced Regina that their friendship was ‘casual’ and ‘nothing’ would happen. As time went on, Fred stated visiting Regina who had now relocated to her Aunt’s house due to proximity to her school as her external examinations (WASSCE, JAMB, and SSCE) were fast approaching.

When her mentor heard of the visitation, he still warned her but she paid deaf ears since her Aunty was in support of Fred’s visitation. Along the line, feelings and lust took hold of them. Regina that promised never to visit Fred went to his house. In one of her visitations, the flesh took over and they ate the forbidden apple.

Yes, they had sex, the casual relationship led to casualty. Devil did not end there, just that ‘one time’ thing, Regina missed her period, yes, and she became pregnant. All these happened when she was writing her external examination, she could not concentrate. She was confused. She was devastated. She was lost.

Fred ‘disappeared’ from her life. The Aunt took her to another demonic agent on white laboratory coat called doctor. Yes, any doctor that aborts (kills) innocent babies is a demon from the pit of hell. Sorry I have no apology because the Bible says thou shall not kill. The demonic doctor destructively demolished the baby. Regina was filled with guilt. The trauma she passed through couldn’t allow her to keep it to herself.

Since she could not concentrate, she filed her examinations while those that she was better off passed with flying colours and gained admission into universities. As i write this letter, for almost four years, she still has deficiency in her studies. How sad! She repaid God with evil as He gave her second chance. She felt she could handle it. She felt it as casual. She ended up being a murderer. She shed innocent blood. Who knows whether her womb has been affected? Who knows whether she has killed the only child that God destined her to bring to this world? She regretted and she is still regretting.

Remember,

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD, and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones.
Proverbs 3:5-8 ESV

Also,

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 King James Version

How I wish and pray that you will learn from Regina’s mistakes.

This story teaches a great lesson we must all learn from. Thanks for sharing the story.

Yes, it does, it teaches us to lean not on our own understanding and not fall into something we call 'casual' that will end up being a 'casualty' to us. May God help us. Thank you @sc-n
