HOW TO MANAGE OUR FELLOW WORKERS.
Hi Steemians!
Sunday service was great and I want to share with you what I learnt today; How to manage our fellow workers.
Who are fellow workers?
Fellow workers are people that work together with us in school, church, government etc.
What does it mean to manage?
According to Merriam Webster Dictionary it means to be in charge of (a business or an organization).
I also think to manage means to take proper care of something.
Managing our fellow workers is what God wants us to do. It is lacking in the lives of many Christians today.
The book of Galatians 5:22&23 says; But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Below are the fruits of the spirit which will help believers careand manage their co- workers.
Christians should love their co-workers. It can only be possible if only we love God and love ourselves.
If we can't love God, we can't love others. We should be in peace with others, we should be meek and good to others.
Let's see Joseph as a case study. Joseph was a God fearing man. He served God diligently. Even when he was in charge of the prisons he took his fellow workers just as his self. The master entrusted everything into his hands including his wife to manage.
Joseph did not overstep his boundaries by accepting to do what his master's wife asked him to do. He was trustworthy.
He did not bully or wrestle with his co- workers, he did not treat them bad. No iota of pride was found in him. He served God whole heartedly.
Galatians 5:26 says Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
Vainglory means an undeserved and unmerited praise.
The Merriam Webster's Dictionary says it is an excessive pride in oneself or one's achievements.
If God has given you the opportunity to be in a higher rank, don't use that opportunity to look down on others.
Don't allow that to make pride grow in you.As a leader that you are try as much as you can to show love and speak words of encouragement to people serving you.
If you are a co - worker, do not envy your fellow workers. Remember the fact that inasmuch as our faces our different, God works with us in different ways.
Don't compare yourself with another. Don't be jealous about others.
Be diligent. Try to help one another. Show concern, love and care for one another. Be faithful to one another. Learn to bear with one another, pray for one another, render help when needed.
We should know the extent of our duties in wherever we are serving. Showing concern about our fellow workers well being should be our priority.
Moreso, we should understand why, where and how God wants us to serve in the place he has called us to.
My earnest prayer is that God will help us to do his will in Jesus name.
Thank you for visiting my blog and God bless you.
Remain blessed.
