SELF DISCIPLINE.

And he that ruleth his spirit is better than he that taketh a city.

Self-control is superior to conquest, for success in business, school or home- life can be ruled by one who has list control of his or her anger.

Any man who will have a lasting success must have self control at all times.

There are four steps to take in developing self - control.

1. Don't always do the easy or fun stuff first. Rather you must take care of those things that are usually ignored.
   Making your bed, picking up your clothes on the floor, washing dishes.
   Complete whatever you started and work hard at whatever you do.
   Don't start several things at once; one thing at a time.

1. Discipline yourself to be punctual. Lateness is a bad habit.
   To beat it, you must be brave enough to call it what it is, inconsiderate selfish behavior.

1. Plan ahead. Everything takes longer than you think, so don't wait till the last minute then rush around like a chicken with it's head cut off.
   An unplanned life brings pressure and stress.

1. Accept corrections without sulking or getting defensive. The Bible says wisdom is found in those who takes advise. Always welcome honest feedback about your attitude.

Above all you must ask God to help you control your unruly thoughts, feelings and behavior.

If you are honest face your weakness, God will give you the power to overcome every unmanageable area of your life.

My earnest prayer is that God give us the strength to Change our character, discipline ourselves and control ourselves.
