Psalm 5:12

“For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield” KJV.

Psalm 30:5

“For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning” KJV.

Luke 2:52

“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man” KJV.

Favour is the covenant blessing/right of a believer; it is a protection for us.

Outside God’s favor, life is practically impossible

Favour is overgenerous preferential treatment; beyond what is normal

The worst time to look for bullet is when they’re fighting you; get your bullet ready on time

Don’t look for God when you are in trouble alone, dwell in the secret place of the most high

In God’s favour is life

ESSENTIALS OF FAVOUR

• Opportunities (Ecclestiatitis 9:11):

When it’s your turn, may you be ready!!!

Real opportunities look for people, people don’t look for it, Do not sell yourself to the devil out of desperation

Hebrew 13:2, Genesis 18:17
Be careful of how you shy aware from responsibilities; they are opportunities

• Relationships:

Favor doesn’t fall from the sky, it comes through people

The person you marry may take you 25 years behind; be careful

Marriage is either life improvement or life imprisonment

Genesis 13:1-10)
Whenever God wants to bless you, He sends someone to your life

• Giving (Proverbs 11:25):
Every stagnant water smells, you must be a channel not a container
Tithe, help the poor, and pay someone’s fees.

• The presence of God (Genesis 39:1-3):
Psalm 16:11; there is power in God’s presence, it is where you know the path of life

Exodus 23:20; in God’s presence is where you receive direction

Isaiah 48:17; Divine direction is more powerful than monetary favour
Not every door is an “OPEN DOOR”

• Service to God and Man:
Luke 2:52; be wise in managing relationships; be humble and serve appropriately

James 4:10, 1 Peter 5:6; self kills service; you can’t be over-occupied with self and be excellent in service

Ruth 1:1-20; what you give to others is what comes back to you; RECOMPENSE comes from God

Genesis 27:1-30; blessing flows on the platform of service

Exodus 23:25-27, Matthew 6:24-34

Why it is hard for people to serve:

 Food
 Clothing
 Shelter

You don’t need to seek after what people have/do/wear, just be a person of value and people will value you/what you have

• Diverse Giving (Genesis 8:22):

Psalm 41:1-11; give to the poor
First fruits, tithe, offerings, etc.

• Seek the face of God (2 Chronicles 26:3-5):

As long as you seek the Lord, He will make you to prosper

Ways to seek the Lord

 His Face
 His Will
 His Kingdom

Genesis 32:20-30, Numbers 6:23-30

You can’t see God’s Face and still be a victim

Say this prayer; In Jesus Name, I enter into that season where “FAVOUR” will work for me.
