God does not give up on Us

Hosea 2:15; I will give her her vineyards from there, and the Valley of Anchor as a door of hope; she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth, as in the day when she came up from the land of Egypt.

There are lots of people who are of the idea that God forsakes them they do wrong, go astray or are not able to live the very perfect life that Christ is looking for from us. Others also believe that once they do something wrong there have to clean up their lives until it becomes spotless before they can approach the throne of Grace to ask for something or even to worship. But then Christ is not looking at we getting ourselves together before turning to him for he knows our weaknesses and idiosyncrasies, he knows our addictions and afflictions and he is the best person to help us get through it all, which is why he came to die for us in the first place, and he did this, whiles we were still sinners.

Therefore, we are to walk boldly to the throne of grace and to ask for forgiveness when we default, that we may be shown mercy and grace. Today the message is quite simply and clear, do not try to do it all on your own and get rid of the idea that God forsakes or gives up on us. For he came to die for us when we were yet sinners.
