If Not For Grace

Things don't happen to us for no reason. There are good reasons why God sometimes allow us to go through hard times in life.

God do not have particular people in mind made for troubles or to experience the worse in life. We all experience troubles one way or the other.

The good news is God has given each and everyone of us special strength that is able to help us endure any hardship we go through in life.

You have endured so many difficulties in life and has come this far not because of your might but because God sustained you in those moments.

It is the grace of God that made it possible for you come out alive when it even seemed that you will not make it alive.

We would have been consumed by our enemies and the attacks they brought on us if not for God's grace. We have made it alive not by might nor by power but by His sufficient grace.

When we are weak and cannot do anything to change situations is when the grace of God is made sufficient in our lives. Having this in mind will give you the confidence to carry on irrespective of what comes our way.

Apostle Paul struggled so much and prayed three times to God about his predicament, that it might depart from him yet the Lord permitted it but granted him the grace to sustain him:

And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Corinthians 12:7-9

Things might not work the way you wanted but always rely on God's grace to give you the strength to carry on.
