Dedicate Your Life To God
I therefore urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercies, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices that are holy and pleasing to God, for this is the reasonable way for you to worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but continuously be transformed by the renewing of your minds so that you may be able to determine what God’s will is—what is proper, pleasing, and perfect. Our bodies are the most important of all the sacrifices, offerings and gifts we can give to the lord. God doesn't need our monies, treasures or wealth but our bodies. Our bodies are very precious in the sight of God for He bought us at a great price.
This is why God doesn't want a single soul to perish or lose his life and be destroyed in the hell fire.
Loosing our lives will mean a great loss to God and this is why God will go to very length to ensure that none of his children perish.
Our bodies are the temple of God. It is the rightful place for the dwelling of the Spirit of God. Our bodies are God's abode, a place where He dwells.

Offering our lives to God or dedicating our lives will permit God to be the Lord and Master of our lives. Your body is God's temple and defiling it will cause God to also destroy it.
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. 1 Corinthians 3:16-17
Our bodies should not be an instrument for sin where we will always fulfill its desires. We should avail ourselves for God to use as a vessel of honour to bring Him glory.
We do not own our lives and cannot choose to live they way we please. The temple of God(our bodies) cannot be used for smoking, for fornication or adultery, for alcoholism and for doing drugs.

Just like the above Scripture says, we are to offer it as a sacrifice that is holy and pleasing to God.
For one to be able to free himself or herself from the pleasures of this world, the lust of the eyes and the flesh, the pride of life, there is a need for a constant renewal of his or her mind by the word of God.
It is easy to be tempted and be lured into sin if you don't stick to God's word and feed your spirit daily.Remember! God bought you at a great price therefore glory Him in your body.
