Steem backed dollar worth over $14 USD each!

The Steem Dollar has gone out of control. Tether keeps USDT at near a dollar and Nushares keeps Nubits around a dollar as well. I do not think that the system really is good at keeping this asset down. It is pretty good at keeping it up. Like the Canadian dollar is good at matching the US dollar.

I have long been against interest payments on the Steem dollar because that would in the long run create more dollars and cause inflation. In the short-run it actually adds demand for it. So, it is a bad way to control it's price anyway.
