Champions League or Europa League
Today the groups of the Champions league will kick off. On Thursday the group of the Europa League will follow.
There is no doubt that the quality of play in the Champions League will be higher and that the Champions League do have more attractive fixtures on the agenda.
But if you do look at it from a betting perspective, which one do you prefer.
The Champions League will all renowned names, where there will not be a lof of surprises. Or the Europa League where a lot of teams are playing which we didn’t even know exist. Where the bookies do have it much harder to set the odds!

Due to the fact that there are more Belgian teams present in the Europa League, betting wise the Europa League is much more appealing to me!
The Champions League used to be the league of the Champions, now it is just the league of the biggest and richest teams. It was set up to prevent a split of the major teams, when the UEFA was fearing that they were going to create a separate competition.
I doubt it that I even will watch the Champions League game of the only Belgian team present in it, today!
