Braeburn’s Irish Placepot Challenge - Day 2
As the cancellation of all UK horse racing continues so does my flirtation with the Irish nags. Yesterday saw my first two runners at Thurles fall and unseat the rider respectively, horses 3 & 4 bowled in (making me question why I am not having singles on top of the multiples), before the last two came nowhere, reminding me exactly why.

Today, after much indecision, I am pushing ahead with the Irish placepot challenge. You find me on a Megabus (an oxymoron if ever there was one) between Swansea and London as my reaclimatisation to the UK continues. By tonight I should be in Brighton, although not before a lengthy beer stop in Belgravia. Selections have, as usual, been made in a hurry with an extraordinarily limited amount of brain power involved.
Still it gave me something to do for 10 minutes, just 4 hours to go... “help me”.

My biggest win on the horses was a trixie with the selection process completed in 2 minutes on a bus I think. I also had a mate win £12k on a scoop6 he did by ‘horse name’ only!!
