Braeburn’s 25 Day Trixie Challenge - Day 12

To continually do the same thing and expect different results is, as they say, insanity. Therefore after yesterday’s failure, the tenth such failure in a row, I have dramatically altered the selection process for todays Trixie Challenge.

Hope springeth eternal.

Almost blind drunk, in a bizarrely cavernous German beer dispensary, located in the below bar region of Southampton, decisions were made. Some of the decisions were quick, like today’s horsey picks. Shorter odds, smaller races, better percentages but lower potential returns, this bad run needs halting after all. Other decisions, however, were more thought through. Things that have been on my mind for a long time, big things, important things about which more to follow. Perhaps.

For now it is enough to be glad that the sun shines on the little corner of the world that I currently inhabit. Hangovers, losing runs, dodgy omelettes and rail replacement buses, I will take them all in my stride as I drive towards the finish.
