I saw @phoenixwren posted a fun sounding contest earlier today. Tonight while doing some yard work I noticed the crabapple tree was buzzing, so I grabbed some photos of the bees.
So very pink!

The decorative flowering pear out front is also blooming-
So pretty!
While I was weeding near the flowering pear our neighbor's cat Liam came over to... help...
He kept trying to steal my gloves!
One last tree, we think it is a waxberry, it gets little red fruit after the little yellow flowers bloom.
After doing a bit of yard work... tonight we took the Christmas lights down finally... :)
Lovely photos... I am not sure about Liam helping though perhaps he liked the xmas lights 😆, which reminds me that we must finally put away our mini xmas tree as well @jamethiel
Lol! No hurry... we still have Halloween stickers on our storm door from 2 or 3 years ago...
Liam enjoyed chasing the string of lights as we wound them up for storage. :)

I love your bee photos (and halper cat)! But the contest was to plant flowers for the bees. :)
Must have missed that part... too many pretty pictures distracted me... we aren't planting any new stuff this year, I wont be home to take care of it due to my work schedule.
