A Pet

A pet is a cuddly little thing,
Joy and laughter it will bring.
If your pet has way too much fur,
Expect it to bark or maybe just purr.

A pet could become a very close friend,
Treat it nice, lots of love it shall send.
It has the potential to cheer you up,
Right from the start, just like a pup.

Pets are wonderful, they're all unique.
They understand you, make sure you speak.
Don't forget to love them dearly,
They'll love you back, lots and sincerely.

Yesterday I went to dog shelter in Ubud. It was actually my first experience visiting that kind of place. The idea was come up when my friend and I finished our super late lunch and didn't know what to do to emptied our stomach (that actually just filled with oh-so-yummy-foods) before continuing our trip to Kakiang Bakery :D

The shelter was a two floors building with more than 300 dogs lives inside it. They separate the building between the place for the healthy dogs and the other's with special care needed. It was actually quite small but the place felt really homie. The moment when we walked inside, 10-12 dogs starts barking and act like wanted to be touch by us. I am more to a dog person rather than a cat person so I was so very excited (we played for like an hour and half there)

The staff there said most of the dogs here are ready for adoption. Unfortunately dog isn't allowed in my house :(
Anybody who wants to get a pet, please please contact me so then I can give you details about this dog shelter. It would be much better if you can adopt those cute dogs rather than spend your money to buy one at pet shop, wouldn't it?
