Aceh in the earthquake

Banda Aceh was rocked by an earthquake at around 16:52 pm, Thursday (8/2/2018).

Based on information obtained from Serambinews.com BMKG official site, a recent earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale (SR).

The quake is located at 26 kilometers northeast of West Aceh district, with a depth of 10 Km.
The quake was felt long enough. This afternoon earthquake is felt quite fast, compared to two previous earthquakes that occurred in Aceh.

Twice previous earthquakes in Aceh, each occurred on January 24, 2018 and January 5, 2018.

On January 24, the magnitude 5.1 earthquake, location 68 km southwest of Simeulue District.

While on January 5, Aceh was rocked by a magnitude 5.4 magnitude earthquake. Its location is 78 km northeast of Sabang City.
