Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? The inventor of Bitcoin cryptocurrency

Going online, there are so many people asking for the true identity of Satoshi Nakamoto.

The identity of the inventor of the famous ‘Bitcoin’ and pioneer of cryptocurrency, Satoshi Nakamoto remains unknown till date (as of December, 2017). It is believed that Satoshi Nakamoto has decided to go anonymous because of his Money Laundering agenda but this is not a fact.

Satoshi Nakamoto is believed to be of Japanese descent. In the year 2009, a version 0.1 of bitcoin was released on Sourceforge website by Satoshi Nakamoto. Nakamoto created a website with the domain name ‘Bitcoin.org’ and continued his collaboration with other developers on the Bbtcoin software until middle of year 2010. In the year 2010, control of the source code repository and network alert key was handed over to Gavin Andresen, a friend a colleague.

Gavin Andresen, a Princeton graduate who graduated in the year 1988 became the leader of the Bitcoin development project. Andresen created Clearcoin, which is an escrow-type of service. On June 23, 2011 the service rendered by Clearcoin closed.

Some people believe that the name “Satoshi Nakamoto” is a Pseudonym of the true inventor of the Bitcoin cryptocurrency. The word ‘Pseudonym’ according to the Word Web dictionary simply means; “A fictitious name used when the person performs a particular social role”.
