I was going through some photos from when I first started sculpting as a profession. I came across this Santa I did back in 2016, I think it was. This was my first full size maquette. Too bad I, at the time, I didn't have a clue on how to make moulds. In my ignorance I ended up destroying the bottom half of this guy.

Up side was this disaster lead to my sculpture titled, Days After. It was the top half reworked in plaster to signify the loss of wonder as we "grow up". Anyhoo, I just thought it would be fun to share this picture. This was really the piece where I started to believe that I could actually pull off being a sculptor.
