Thank you! The story is from the Zulia region of Venezuela, although I haven't found the name of the Tribe. Cacique Mara was said to rule from east of the Maracaibo lake up to the coast of Cartagena in Colombia, and he gave hell to Spanish conquerors. From his name derives the name of my hometown: Maracaibo
