Hello good morning ma'am, am Mrs Tina from international private school, am emeka's anuty i just call to know why he has not been in school for the past two weeks now, anuty am sorry but maybe you are not sure of what you are saying because emeka my son goes to school every single day, but nevertheless thank you for your concern and information i will get back to you when my son is back from school.
Later in the evening emeka is back from school and his parent called him to have a word with him, Emmy my son 'yes daddy' we got a call from your school that for the passed two weeks you have not been to school.'hmm hmm daddy u know as i was going to' (cut short by the mother) emeka 'yes mummy' are you trying to tell us that is true that for the passed two weeks you have not shown you face in school?? 'Yes mummy but is not what you are thinking i was just trying to help a ( cut short by the father) emeka you know you are our only child and we are trying our best to make responsible to yourself and to the society. And you don't want to go to school, you waist your school hours roaming around the street with some bad boys is that the kind of life you want to live, remember today you are a boy tomorrow you will be a man, a husband and a father, what then will you teach your children. ' daddy when the time come i will teach what i know' ( he stood up and left).
Some years later emeka got married with a son , life was so unbearlabe for them one day the child came back from school very sad and was asking his father "daddy why is it that am the only one that pays my school fee late?? My classmate use to tell me that their father is a doctor, lawyer, enginer,civil servant,teacher and even contractors, how did you end up as a hawker??".
My child i dont know what to say, but the only thing i have to tell you is you should never neglect your parent or elderly advice because they will never deceive you, rather it will be a solid foundation for you. He went inside his room sad and full of regret, his wife later went to his room and came out shouting and scremming, they rush him to the hosiptal and the doctor comfirm him dead of heart attack.
Moral: what ever you sow today you shall reap tomorrow. He who fail to plan, plans to fail.
