Lol... The irony is that those childhood lies actually helped to shape our today. As kids we are all innocent. And over 85% of the things we learned in the early stages of our existence actually engraved in our subconscious as kids thereby helping to shape our adulthood.
Growing up in an African home, you have to deal with a lot of things and one of the major ones was your parents lying to you just to keep you in check.
A lot of us strongly believed most of these things till we got enlightened enough to see through their lies.
