Winter in the Rose Garden

The Balboa Park Rose Garden is an award winning collection of rosebushes representing a wide variety from heirloom five petaled roses to full petaled multicolored displays.

Normally, the garden is wintered by December with the bushes being pruned to about 18 inches tall. This season, however, the roses are still in full bloom offering me the opportunity to share several photos of them with you.
