Samsung Electronics can delay the release of the bent Galaxy X before the end of this year due to problems with the performance of components. This is reported by the authoritative South Korean resource ETNews, citing sources in the industry.

It is specified that the trial production of flexible OLED-matrices will be launched in March, while the assembly of the smartphones themselves will be postponed until November. If everything goes according to plan, then in December Samsung will be able to present the development of the public and begin selling it.

"Most likely, future Samsung innovations will have a display with a diagonal of 7.3 inches," reports ETNews. "Thanks to the folding design, owners of such smartphones will be able to easily carry them in their pockets, laying out if necessary."

It is known that the main problem, due to which Samsung is forced to postpone the production of folding smartphones, lies in the formation of a crease at the bend point of the display. Once in Seoul coped with this, the previous release schedule will be restored.

However, as noted by Dong Jin Koch, CEO of Samsung Electronics, the main reason that prevents the timely launch of Galaxy X, is the unpreparedness of the user interface. According to him, the company's developers need more time to bring the software shell of the smartphone to the ideal.
