RE: My Name Is ... D.

La mulţi ani! Multă sănătate, bucurii şi împlinirea tuturor dorinţelor!

Happy name day, Dan! I should have guessed! I know your real name. I will not forget now. Happy birthday to your wife! What a wonderful celebration and yes! To do it together is very special, I think.

My name Denise, was actually celebrated by my parents on May 31 every year along with my birthday in August. My other given name at baptism was Teresa, which was, in fact, my Italian Godmother. I always loved celebrating the two days.

I congratulate you on rolling over to 60! That was a hard one to make. I just rolled over to 61 a few days ago! That took me forever! I have not been as active as you lately. I fear I will never see 62. I think we are both doing well.

I meant to tell you how much your blogging/posting has really improved. You have really made it so engaging and fun to read. It is always interesting and I absolutely love walking along with you as you point out pieces of history or art. Thank you! Thank you so much!

Multumesc/Thank you! Thank you for the effort made to tell me this in Romanian, by the name day.
How beautiful, you made a confession about your name and you fit into the SAM rules. Thank you again! I want to say I like both your names: Denise and Teresa!
Yes, it was hard to get to 60. I saw that you got to 61 and congratulate you. It is important to know the criteria that increase the reputation, then it would be easier to grow. There are many who have come to Steemit long after me and have already outgrown (eg @ericah). They had an activity that more closely matched the requirements of the algorithm that established the reputation. As far as I know, the main engine of growth is votes from members with a higher reputation than you. The higher the reputation and the stronger votes, the higher your reputation will grow. I'm sure you'll grow up pretty fast, much faster than I do.

Not really. To be honest, most of my votes come from small people, one of the reasons it took me a long time, although, I am not complaining. Although that is true about the main growth engine, some have bought votes and that will also increase your reputation as they have a high reputation also.

So, I am not so impressed as I once was before all the vote buying. It makes it hard when I see a spotlight on the most votes and the person has 2000 Well, most of those are bought votes. Is this fair? I say no. I have no idea how they are doing things anymore. I just do my thing and be happy. It has served me well and I do not have to worry about vote for vote or anything like that.

Do I sound bitter? I'm not. I just decided that this should be fun, not a job or a chore. Then it is no fun anymore. So, it is more relaxed and better for me. :) I do like it here.

Yes, of course you have right! You cannot complain, you are very loved here by true people, in flesh and bones ... not by robots!
I did not talk about robots ... I talked about ambitious people! People who know what to do and who ... they do. I mean many posts, comments, reblogs ... etc.
They are the winners in all competitions.
You do not approach Steemit as a competition, not me (but once stimulated by the success of others and I wonder if I can not, Capricorn mentality).
