The Khewra Salt Mine is situated in Khewra, north of Pind Dadan Khan, a regulatory development of Jhelum District, Punjab Region, Pakistan. The mine is situated in the Salt Range, Potowar pleateau, which ascends from the Indo-Gangetic Plain, and is the second biggest on the planet.
