You bet, those were really the good and simpler times. I miss that simplicity in lifestyle now. It took me quite a while to get stable with my finances because whatever I would earn, I would spend in travelling, almost till I was 35 I barely had any savings :-) no regret I enjoyed every bit of what I spent on. But then after that it did start bothering me and I got on to the saving spree. In India we have to plan well for our retirement because there is no government support.
