RE: Sailing the Skagerak/Kattegat towards Gothenburg, part 1

in #sailwithme6 years ago

The weird thing is that I've been looking forward for this the entire week!

I guess you haven't imagined cleaning puke...and I remember your comment from my post about ginger saying that it's good in preventing sea sick. It's definitely the sushi to blame that it didn't work out the trick with it. Next time you should probably eat only boiled rice with salt so you don't give the stomach too much to work with and material for puke.
By the way is the childs first cruise? He seems pretty relaxed.

Sort:

He was sailing to Cuxhaven previous summer. Coincidentally, I've also been to Cuxhaven previous summer.

He became a big brother only ten days ago.

He was less relaxed and more scared when we left the relatively sheltered water.

Today there is not so much wind and not so much waves.

From what I've seen in that picture he seems more relaxed than I would. I'm not a fan o waves at all...but maybe it was from the sushi that got his attention more than waves. Waiting for some more pictures. You're sailing to Denmark from what I remember right?

We ate the sushi while we were still in somewhat protected waters, so yes ... he was quite relaxed back then. He was not a happy camper throughout the worst waves, but eventually he fell asleep.

Today he has been a happy camper most of the time.

And yes, the purpose is to move the boat to Copenhagen so we can "kickstart" our vacation a bit.
