LORD, GIVE ME THE GRACE OF SERVICE

READ: Mark 9:30-37
Key Scripture: If any man wants to be first, he shall be last of all, and servant of all (Mark 9:35).

THOUGHTS
Make everything a sacrifice. This is to say, do not only expect from God, rather work for God. It is a fact that no man's act can add to or subtract from God. But it is also true that God appreciates every effort we make for the growth of the kingdom. Doing the work of God is all about corpora works of mercy. It is to work in the household of God. When the church needs to be swept, you be the one to sweep it. When that widow needs assistance, be there. When that orphan is lonely, keep him company; when that hungry child needs food, give him food to eat; when that girl is going astray, counsel her. These are the works a true Christian should engage themselves in. It is not always easy but when the grace of God is there, we truly can. Our prayer should be towards this, for it is more profitable to work for God than work against God. If you have not been doing it you can start to learn it now.
