Создан мост в стиле модерн с аристократичностью, элегантностью украшений. соединяет Троицкую площадь с Марсовым полем и является вторым по протяженности разводным мостом длиной 582 м, шириной 23,5 м после моста Александра Невского.

По легенде, под Троицким мостом пролетел летчик-испытатель Чкалов для того, чтобы завоевать сердце своей невесты. Правда ли это? Но во время съёмок фильма "Валерий Чкалов" самолет пролетел 6 раз под этим мостом.
