ТАКОЙ ЖЕ vs ТОТ ЖЕ / the difference between two Russian words

In this series for intermediate learners we will compare confusing words and see the difference in their usage looking at real exapmles from every day life. Today we are talking about two Russian words with particle ЖЕ: ТАКОЙ ЖЕ and ТОТ ЖЕ, very often they are translated as "th same" but what is the difference in their usage?
In fact, we use ТОТ ЖЕ/ТА ЖЕ/ ТО ЖЕ/ ТЕ ЖЕ when talking about one object meaning that same object, while ТАКОЙ ЖЕ/ ТАКАЯ ЖЕ/ ТАКОЕ ЖЕ/ ТАКИЕ ЖЕ are used when talking about similar or the same objects, but not about one object.
