Finding A Russian Voice. Studying Russian for the purpose of posting on GOLOS!

in #russian8 years ago (edited)

Здравствуйте.

Hello.

Today I began studying the Cyrillic alphabet.

I am going to keep this blog just to keep track of any progress I may or may not make. For some reason I have always been attracted to languages/writing systems completely different from English, so of course Japanese (I live in Japan) and Russian (check out this crazy-ass, cool-looking alphabet) fit the bill.

I have always, since childhood, had an interest in Russia. Now that I am on the "Russian Steemit" known as Golos, I have all the more reason to study. Some of you may already be on Golos as well, just by virtue of having a Steemit account. Head on over to golos.io and log in with your Steem credentials to see what's up.

Anyway, here's my progress for today. The block letter (non-handwritten) Cyrillic alphabet!
